Overall : Some back pain and indictative of ‘kidney pain’..?? Had bloods taken on Thursday the 26th ?? Kidney function test results ??
Noticeable wheezing present this morning.... Apnoea continues to be problematic.
Chronic fatigue remains an issue.
Tough week ahead. Clearing out my residence of all ‘clutter’ which means involving some of the charities for collection etc PLUS having to use some of the other services re community etc..
Upping my prednisolone to 4mgs daily to cope with pain relief and etc this week.. might increase that IF I feel it is necessary.
Lets see what transpires this week..

Ankles are problematic. Some capillary bleeding AND swelling. I’m monitoring the calf and shin areas for any swelling especially since the blood clot on the left calf. Mobility and motivity are compromised; I am much weaker than before and finding walking etc to be far more demanding pysically AND mentally. Cramp in the lower legs not good.
Hands, re the PALMS, remain COLDER than normal. Finger tips affected. I will have to start wearing gloves to see if I can ease that. Especially as the weather turns colder?
Chronic fatigue is stll a nuisance. I’m modifying my med routine AGAIN to see if I can reduce some uncomfortable after effects.
Neck is playing up this morning.. re pain and discomfort.
I’ve had to resort to taking the 75mgs of Aspirin due to having to wait for the Apixiban tabs - Monday (Out of stock) .
Will be interesting to see what happens with me NOT taking the Apixiban.
I now have the Alpha Lipoic Acid tabs 100mgs ! BUT I will start taking those when my meds are back to what they would be and NOT missing certain vital meds such as the Apixiban..

Late posting updates today thanks to unnecessary stress from some individuals who are it seems of the belief that unless you have a health care or similar community person coming into wipe your A** that you can’t possibly be that ill... believe me THEY exist, especially the ones looking after their own vested interests and to hell with your situation.
As viewers know of my journal web.. I’ve taken it on myself to be involved with MY health and well being. Something that some are not happy about because it means THEY have to be more accountable for what they do re treatments, medications and more?!
TODAY Thurs 26th Oct 2023
Visit to the local hospital to have bloods taken. Quite a lot...( my partner tells me that IF I were being buried.. she would be putting a stake into my heart... nest of vanpires?? )
Joking aside.. overall I was extremely weak.. more than I have been for months now.. almost to the point of collapsing. THAT combined with a tiny dark patch in my right eye - I am suspicious that could be due to a cataract?? forming? I WILL be having my local optician cheacking that out for me.
Mobility and MOTIVITY all heavily compromised; viewers need to look at the listed BLOOD PRESSURE results over the last 48 hours to get an idea of some seriously NOT good results. .
It took me over 3 hours after arriving home.. to sleep and recover some normality. What worried me was KNOWING I was experiencing some terrifying weakness AGAIN?? As to what else is being affected physically re my internal organs etc ?? I already have KIDNEY issues.. FACT. So what else?? MORE to follow ..

My hands are ;problematic re IF I run cold water over them they get COLD!? Of course you might well say.. DUH?? BUT it is how long they take to warm up that is the problem!! Circulation issues!

I have a problem with my hands being COLD which can only mean impaired circulation issues. Looks like I am going to have to start wearing gloves..
Ambient room temp.. 17.6F / 77C
Tight chest, coughing, wheezing... no real changes there. Apnoea is fairly regular now..
I now have some EXPECTORANT cough mixture added on standby.. plus some THROAT pastilles that contain EUCALPYTUS .. I can’t add CONGESTION meds without problems because of the other meds I am taking. I’ve worked with my local pharmacist - my med supplier on this.. as they KNOW already from my previous visits etc / collections what meds I am taking more
Neck is a real nuisance this morniung. Stiff, painful, limited movement.. Throat to collar bone etc area not so good. Fingers across this area to the underside of the Right EAR ie close to the Eustacian tube et NOT good. I would say there is some swelling present.
Ankles and below the knees, extremities, are prone to PAINFUL CRAMP and that appears to be VERY eaay to occur, when moving the lower limbs. Applies to BOTH legs. NOT good especially as we KNOW there was a blood clot detected on the LEFT calf area.

Lets add ‘CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE’ into my ‘pallete’ of health issues with the odds NOT in my favour at over 80%...more on this coming up..
Tight chest, coughing, wheezing... some drippy nasal with sinuses affected, similar to what you would expect from a cold etc?? Some tightness of the sinuses; congestion.
I will be adding some COUGH MIXTURES to my meds etc..Probably an EXPECTORANT and DECONGESTANT. Daytime NOT night time mixes.. I will monitor any flem etc coughed up particularly re colour re BLOOD etc Spitting out into a pot NEVER swallowing anything coughed up!!
Throat remains problematic. After taste, lump etc Swallowing can be an issue.
Neck is not good this morning, some stiffness and discomfort. Clicking and making it difficult to move my head without pain and borderline nausea.
I haven’t altered the meds taken as per usual now.. more
Chronic fatigue remains a VERY serious nuisance. Most of the morning hours had me fighting this..OUT for a few hours then back for the afternoon and once again chronic fatigue had me falling asleep! A lot of my meds/medical issues; have side effects re tiredness etc.. ?!

NOTES:
I am getting increasingly aware of some issues that are NOT going to go away anytime soon. What is worse is how those issues are affecting my health and well being from physical / physiology to mental acuity / cognitive responses.
Chest wheezy and usual howl and growl. Some ‘dry’ coughing present, no flem, no blood etc
I also have problems re the sudden gasping sensation of catching my breath that occurs I note, with increasing frequency. APNOEA and NO it is NOT sleep related.
Throat remains a problem re the after taste, dryness and the strong possibility that it IS Sjögren's syndrome ? However another possible answer might lie in the THYROID region re a GOITRE and that lump might be related to a previous situation that arose re just that??
Kidneys - lower back pain; discomfort now RIGHT side as well..
Urinalysis is showing some PROTEIN AND KETONES. I’m still NOT convinced that damage has NOT occurred re the kidneys.

Calf muscles, ankles are being a problem. Some noticeable discomfort. Monitoring very carefully since the detection of a blood clot recently gave rise to some concern. Knees are also affecting some mobility. Neck is tight and clicky when moving my head.

As viewers willl know I discontinued the METHOTREXATE after some serious issues that followed re Swollen glands, painful and swollen calf muscles that later showed a blood clot... chest issues, throat issues.. the list goes on and prior to the METHOTREXATE these were NOT as great an issue?? HOWEVER because of the number of variables due to my extensive number of health issues it does NOT mean that the METHOTREXATE alone was responsible for what followed?? It savaged my immune system seriously reducing its effect and in doing so ? left me almost defenseless. That now is suspended, until the results of the latest bloods taken are reviewed. More to follow on this.

Notes: Monday has started off with some overall weakness.. my hands are slightly swollen, puffy and though NOT painful ? are difficult to use re general tasks etc. I have to be VERY careful re handling HOT items such as HOT tea etc!! HOT food.
That ‘lesion’ area is STILL a real issue re discomfort. The area is about 30% NUMB!! it IS slighly painful when attempting to sit down putting pressure on it !! To the point, I have to shift to try and take weight et off it.
LOWER ‘Lumbar region’ BACK PAIN, is causing me severe pain AND is seriously affecting my ‘motility’ / mobility. I AM going to look into ‘LOWER LUMBAR SUPPORT SYSTEMS’. Something guess who .. deos NOT want me doing? BUT are failing repeatedly to give me alternative solutions?? As said.. when it takes over/.. it IS CRIPPLING.

Sunday was problematic with being unable to control the ‘narcolepsy’ that plagued me. Tiredness, weakness and to add to the nuisance of it all.. my throat felt tight. If you put fingers under the jaw and run them along the throat close to the ‘Adams apple’.. it causes the inside of the mouth re the throat and swallowing to react AND the ‘lump’ - swelling inside to become VERY apparent. Lower to the chest (rib cage / sternum) is also sore. I suspect that the ‘trachea’ is also relevant with what is happening. Whatever is taking place is affecting the back of the throat AND the trachea??

Some problems with sinuses. Tightening of the nostrils re air intake being difficult forcing me to use my mouth to take in air etc. Also, a sensation of my throat closing off making it difficult to breathe is also of some concern. Could be a reaction / allergic? I do note that it seems to be getting worse AND of course Sjögren's syndrome ? That nasty after taste in my mouth continues. Coughing is now becoming another issue with the chest wheeziness and that distinct howl;growl.
Urinalysis OK but some Protein TRACE amounts.

Chest wheezy and usual howl and growl. Some ‘dry’ coughing present, no flem, no blood etc Throat remains unchanged re aftertaste AND discomfort. Easily out of breath re mobility / motility.
I also have problems re the sudden gasping sensation of catching my breath that occurs I note, with increasing frequency. APNOEA and NO it is NOT sleep related.
Kidneys - lower back pain; discomfort. Urinalysis is OK, nothing showing of any real significance HOWEVER clinistix testing IS NOT definitive. It is only an INDICATOR. A laboratory test is the only real way to determine EXACTLY what is happening.
Chronic fatigue remains a real nuisance. I’m making some comparisons re differences = blood pressure levels to see IF that makes any difference ? SO far? The answer is NO. Good, bad or indifferent the BLOOD PRESSURE readings do NOT alter that CHRONIC FATIGUE!!
I’m now supplementing my Vit B with ‘brewers yeast’ tabs. 1000mgs daily.
I will also start taking ‘R ALPHA’ Lipoic acid, more on that to follow.

SO, which is better for me??? RAISED SYSTOLIC and DIASTOLIC with LOWER PULSE RATE or ?
LOWER SYSTOLIC and DIASTOLIC with HIGHER PULSE RATE Tachycardia a condition where the heart rate is abnormally high, usually over 100 beats per minute. Regularly HIGH not just occassional ie from exercise etc
Ultimately I have to remember that it is the HEART that IS affected. The risks re DVT / DVE and of course having a stroke BUT also a ‘heart attack’ ?? Myocardial infarction etc?
Did you know Aspirin 75mgs is about 20% effective re helping to prevent DVT/DVE - stroke etc
Apixiban is rated at about 60% ! DO remember that APIXIBAN is an ANTI COAGULANT and NOT a BLOOD THINNER!! That is a misnomer!

The Doppler ultrasound revealed a blood clot in the calf area of the Left leg.. Viewers will already know that I was more than aware of the inherent risks re DVT / DVE and not forgetting a ‘STROKE’. Hence I was already taking the reduced Aspirin dose of 75mgs which given the latest result etc I feel was a good move on my part.. HOWEVER the D Dimer result intiially BEFORE the hospital blood testing was >3000 ?! The hopsital tests were showing 6000 !!! more to follow re this.
I’m going to have to be VERY careful today as these 8am figures are NOT good for ME..
A drop to such levels usually indicates something going on.. and in my situation that means NOT GOOD. We shall see as the day progresses!
Breathless, some respiratory issues. Breathing remains NOISY, a HOWL and GROWL
OK Chronic fatigue kicking in again = fell asleep for over 2 hours. Generally WEAK.
Ankles are giving off that really weird sensatiom of water.. as you walk you can feel it and it IS WEIRD. Similar to the leg sensations of feeling as though you have peed down your leg.. but its NOT outside; its INSIDE the leg.
That ‘lesion’ area is still giving me discomfort. Makes little difference even with the cream..
I don’t see that hard ‘scab’ going away anytime soon. What is worrying is what is going on beneath it.. ?? A reason why the D Dimer levels were at 6000??? More on that to follow
Eyes were dry this AM - the chronic fatigue affects them aswell. Slight headache though I did help myself with some 250mgs Paracetamol in the mix.
Throat remains the same.. that aftertaste.. the dryness etc

Unchanged issues. Acute Polymyositis. Peripheral Neuralgia with extensive nerve damage <30 to >40% whole body - loss of sensation. Statin related myopathy. Myalgia AND extensive muscle damage / loss / wasting. Dysphagia. Abnormal lesion (Gluteus Maximus) with subcutaneous / muscle damage. Degenerative changes re C5/C6 C6/C7 HMCCOR recorded statin related myopathy.
Abnormal body temperature that can cause the overall peripheral body temperature to be extremely COLD to the touch.
After eating a wholesome meal the whole peripheral body temperature can drop dramatically with cold sweat, clammy to the touch and overall MEGA unpleasant. AMBIENT room temperature even at SAUNA level makes NO difference re warming me up!! I have to use a hot water bottle applied to the lower body with a wooly hat AND a blanket to restore body temperature raising it.. THAT can take several hours.
Extreme Creatine Kinase levels . HMGCR Auto immune antibodies ?+ Necrotizing myopathy.
Chronic Fatigue syndrome with inability at times to stay awake.. loss of concentration.
Various lumps, bumps and swellings. Capillary bleeding into the tissues especially around the ankles / lower limbs with swelling (varicose veins) AND serious issues with cramp / spasms of the feet / lower limbs. (Recorded imaging.)
If September was a really bad month in many aspects re my health and well being.. moving into OCTOBER is already revealing and on my part, or should I say PARTS.. I am feeling some underlying issues that are NOT good..
Breathless, some respiratory issues. coupled with the aftertaste in the mouth ? AND dryness ot the throat. This has now been for some WEEKS. Breathing can be NOISY, a HOWL and GROWL at times. NOT that it affects getting some SLEEP... Chronic FATIGUE syndrome kicks in to leave me falling asleep bordering on NARCOLEPSY. Annoying is an understatement. Ir interferes with the cognitive processes as well.. worse still, DRYNESS of the EYES.. some VISIUAL impairment re FOCUSING and maintaining CONCENTRATION.
Immune attack= Sjögren's syndrome ? We shall see if MY suspicions are right re that,
The KIDNEYS are currently being attacked and though being treated with ANTIBIOTICS to combat infection I suspect it is more to do with an AUTO IMMUNE attack triggered by other issues targeting my Kidneys. As for other internal organs??
All I can add for the moment. is there is a LOT going on .. stay tuned... this month will NOT be without its moments. I will continue to record as much detail as I am able to.

The trip to the hospital for A E GP referral was quite exhausting for me.
I will be coming back to update everyone on what occurred and more so please be ‘patient’ re that and thankful you are NOT the ‘patient’ !!
I want to add that the staff were VERY responsive and welcoming. So, thankyou to them. Those others who were part of my day at the hospital with me undergoing various tests ALSO very professional and THANK YOU.
Medication: DRUGS: MORNING DOSE Doxazosin 4mgs + 6pm afternoon dose of Doxazosin 2mgs +5mgs Ramipril
Other meds : Prednisolone 4tabs x 5mgs (20mgs) daily dose and at 2pm Aspirin 75mgs daily. Gabapentin 300mgs 11pm + @ 3=5am and also Levythyroxine 25mgs - 50mgs alternate days @ 3=5am. Calciferol TWICE daily. Other supplementary include antacids etc. ol/l

I am somewhat glad that I insisted on taking the 75mgs Aspirin much against some who were not best pleased that I insisted re this.. For MONTHS now I have been making it clear of the HIGH risk I am at re DVT and DVE... Ah yes, once again my words falling on deaf ears. What have I told you all?? They are NOT gods.. though an admission when they get it WRONG or fail to take notice..?? Heads in the clouds...

I have to go into the local A and E department. Viewers etc KNOW my opinion on that re the ‘gateway to hell’. However I am going to concede this time primarily because there are as you all know.. some really bad issues that require some critical attention.
I WILL be carefully noting the time of my arrival AND what transpires, time coded AND in some instances ?Video / photographic evidence to support my claims etc
Given the nature of my issues and the situation per sae.. I WILL NOT be over staying the so called ‘waiting time’ beyond TWO hours re the time it takes me re arrival AND the time I get to see a medical professional who is there to assist me re my medical issues / treaments / medications etc IF I do not see someone re that capacity within the two hours??
I am leaving. NO I will not be using an ambulance re that trip..
I will have given those who shoul;d be informed re the GP’s referral letter and other documentation relevant to me, which means they have NO excuses to claim NOT to be aware of my medical et issues.

Breathing remains NOISY and the growl / howl still persists. I would add that I sense this is getting worse.
Nasal sinuses are playing up. I do use ‘Vick’ menthol ‘paste’ to help me after applying to both nostrils, it does help me re breathing etc BUT NOT when the sinuses are reacting by causing a closing of the air intake via the nostrils resulting in having to breathe through the mouth. I can also experience a full on filling up of clear but FLUID that has to be cleared by use of tissues etc Sjögren's syndrome?
The THROAT remains constant re aftertaste AND dryness. It makes little difference whether it is FLUIDS or SOLIDS that are consumed. Yes, sometimes with difficulties re swallowing etc. ‘Dry’ cough, is occurring.
Eyes: Visual acuity is impaired. Dry eyes?? No surprises there and YES.. Focusing, some minor head ache.. Hoping this will reduce / clear as the day progresses.
Kidneys are still problematic re discomfort re pain re infection / damage. THE LEFT side !
DIURESIS is OK and am carefullyt monitoring fluid intake and output. Some ‘gurgling; abdomenal sounds ??
Now taking twice a day dose of NITROFURANTOIN 100mg Modified release capsules. Prescribed and issued with 5 DAYS supply.
I need to emphasize something that some may easily FORGET.. when it comes to ‘PEEING’ ie frequency and DIURESIS? If you lose the functionality or have an impaired function re ONE kidney the other may work OK or be the only kidney actually working? Currently I am having a noticeable amount of pain from the LEFT ? Kidney?? the discomfort is painful AND I am given to FEEL from that, SENSE it is deinitely damaged.
The abdomenal wall, lower to the groin area is quite tight and I am monitoring re the bladder?
That ‘lesion’ is still causing discomfort! I said before that it should have been ‘excised’ ie the hard skin ‘scab; removed and not left ‘as is’ to be treated topically with just the DERMOVATE cream. That ‘scab’ has been there for nearly 6 MONHS. and though it has had a ;punch biopsy’ performed on it.;. deemed NOT to be ‘malignant’ the ‘scab; remains albeit in a hacked form.. reduced BUT it still REMAINS... The ‘DISCOMFORT’ is VERY apparent.
